Job Description

My client is a well regarded digital agency, specialising in high quality web & app design and development, digital strategy and UX.  Having organically grown since inception, they're ready to appoint a BDM to their tight-knit team. This role is suited to someone with a background in digital technologies - perhaps from an Account Management or Business Development role in a digital agency or web platform with a sound understanding of how technology, user experience and marketing intersect.

Once appointed, here's what the role looks like:
  • Fielding new enquiries both on the phone & online, and booking meetings with prospective clients
  • Developing sales strategies and leading their execution in line with the strategic direction
     
  • Building strong rapport with potential clients and executing strategies to actively grow the customer base
  • Translating client requirements into written briefs
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients through the active promotion
  • Help promote the brand through attending industry events (where possible, creating online events in their place) to actively growing your network.
  • Increasing referral business through the nurturing of partner relationships.

 

Here's what we'd love to see in your background:

  • Experience in a digital agency or tech platform in a role such as digital strategy, account management or business development.
  • A good (if not great) understanding of UX, web design & development and digital strategy, and an insatiable curiousity to increase your understanding
  • A history of bringing your A-game to your role.  This is a highly proficient team, and great people love to work with great people. 
  • Values alignment - we're looking for self-determination, personal accountability, team-centricity & humility.

The base salary for this role is positioned at $70-80K + Super.  OTE $120K+. Uncapped commissions.  City fringe location.
