Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a copywriter or journalist to make a move in-house & work in a scaling tech business.  This is an ideal position for someone with experience in writing for a B2B context who wants to get under the hood of a brand & work in Brisbane's scaling tech scene.  

 

Your role would cover:

  • Creation of informative, compelling, long form B2B content for C-suite readers such as e-books, blog posts, web copy and sales collateral 
  • Writing content with a definitive call to action 
  • Researching & interviewing to ensure your copy is aligned to the goals and challenges of key buying influencers
  • Internal interviews to better understand the product features and sales cycle
  • Pre & post sale user interviews and testimonials
  • Media releases and identifying PR opportunities
  • ***Bonus points for knowledge of SEO & content optimisation


This role is best suited to someone with:

  • A background in journalism or copywriting and a record of published content from reputable sources
  • A passion for the written word and a great understanding of the role of content in the sales process
  • Writing experience preferred (but limited to) areas of technology, procurement or heavy industries
  • An ability to take technical concepts and translate these into compelling content for highly educated but possibly non-technical buyers
